Mahon

Mahon offers plenty of interest to all visitors. The port is one of the deepest natural harbours in Europe. The atmosphere is festive and lively. There are a wide range of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. Visit the gin factory, sample a few free drinks.

The town has historical buildings, as far back as Nelson and La Hamilton, cafes, shops, bars and local market. Gift shops offer plenty of choice including leather goods, cheese, gin and ceramics including the Spanish porcelain ‘Lladro’. The old town has cobbled streets, churches, museums and monuments.
